Full kitchen build with shaker-style doors in espresso finish, pull-out spice racks, and soft-close drawers. Three-week turnaround from design to install.
This Edison Park residence required a full kitchen build — new cabinets from the ground up, designed around the homeowner’s cooking habits and entertaining needs. Gustavo worked with the client over two design sessions to finalize a layout that maximized counter space, improved workflow between the stove and refrigerator, and added specialty storage that the original kitchen lacked.
The cabinets feature shaker-style doors in a rich espresso finish that brings warmth and depth to the space. Pull-out spice racks sit beside the range for easy access while cooking, and every drawer runs on full-extension soft-close slides so contents at the back are just as reachable as those in front. Brushed bronze hardware was selected to complement the espresso tone without competing with it.
From initial design to final installation, the project was completed in three weeks. The cabinets were built in our shop while the homeowner’s old kitchen remained functional. On-site installation took four days, including leveling, shimming, and fitting scribe molding to match the room’s existing walls and ceiling. The finished kitchen pairs light quartz countertops against the dark cabinetry for a timeless contrast.
